Hi Everyone,

I just tried creating a module out of an ASP.NET 2.0 application that I have.  I managed the module development part (i.e. all my pages work as controls within the dnn portal fine) and the DNN distribution definition file that automatically installs the module.  The part that I find difficult is styling.  In asp.net one would simply attach a .css file to the page; but what I read so far seems to lead to a more involved process of writing containers and a skin package (which I have not yet figured out).  Can any one advice of the steps to follow to attach a .css file to a module to be automatically installed on the site?

Thanks in advance

If you want a quick solution, just add the appropriate classes and id's in you module and put all the css in the portal.css file.
Either upload (FTP) or login as  Admin > Site Settings > Style sheet Editor.

Hi Timo,

Thanks for your response.  I got it to work by naming the css file as "module.css" and adding it to the distribution package definition to be loaded under the folder named ~/DesktopModules/MyModule.
