I have a skin that was created and working fine on 4.3.4

Now I am getting ready to launch the site and figured why not get the latest and greatest. I installed a fresh install of 4.3.5 and uploaded the skin that worked fine on 4.3.4......no go. None of my CSS styles are being applied to the site.

I only have a limited time to leave the site in this state so any help help would be greatly apprecieated.

The site that has the skin working (DNN 4.3.4) is www.johnhelfenphotography.com

The site that is failing is http://64.244.24.132

Please tell me what is going wrong. I would like all the fixes from 4.3.5, but not at the cost of my skins.

Please Help.

Thanks,

Slouch

I'm seeing a similar problem.  firefox has an option to view the loaded css files I suspect you won't see the skin.css in the list.  I have the same problem in 4.3.5 but it's not consistent and I can't seem to track it down.

Any ideas?

Are these exactly the same skin files?
I noticed the pages are different so I would think you have been modifying them to try to get them to work - as one has a breadcrumb link, while the other doesn't when you havigate to the same page.

I've seen on both using IE7 (on this machine) the classes are not the same when it comes to the header/title text.

Also, noticed there are javascript errors on both pages and the flash fix hasn't been applied, but that should not affect the CSS behaviour since the errors appear on both 4.34 and 4.35 versions of sites.

I've dones a few new builds for clients - of the 4.3.5 including an upgrade of 4.34 to 4.35 and not experiencing these issue, but  am experiencing some caching problems that have been very frustating to say the least.

In your Host/settings area is the caching the same.

Ehh.. there are two threads about the same problem now...
Let's stick to one to prevent people spending time on already answered questions.
Although not originally started by helfenj this thread already has some solutions in it.
But there still seems to be some kind of a problem...

Nina, could you tell us what kind of "caching problems" you experienced?
