Hi all,

When I include in my skin a link to a js file like this:

<script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript" src="func.js"></script>

then when I upload the skin zip, the .js file is not extracted since it is a not trusted file extension and hence I need to upload the file manually.

What can I do about this (other than including the scipt itself in a <script> element)?

The host can allow uploading of javascript files by going to host --> host settings and scroll down, add ,js to the allowed file types list.

When the skin parsing engine parses the skin, you may need to re-open the .ascx file and add the <%= SkinPath %> code, though.  The parsing engine misses this when it's needed inside a script block, I believe.
