I have a links module in the left pane.  It has a red background.  I wanted to be able to make a bubble around the links and make that color white.  When i test it in IE it looks great, but when i open it up in firefox the links are spaced farther apart which makes nothing lines up.  What's the best way to line things up?

I also noticed that my current date at the top right is different too.  The way i got my spacing was to make a column that was 21px wide.  Should i use a transparent gif that wide and put in that column?

firefox counts margins too..

if you set the width in ie, and a margin... it will bump the content over the margin distance and keep within the width you set.

firefox adds the margin to the outside of the width.

check your margins, and tinker with it till its aligned in both....

then you get to check it in opera and safari. you might cry then.

tables work everywhere, but css is just so fun to use. too bad every browser has a different idea of what needs to be done.

oh, and internet explorer doesnt render it right even though it looks like its what you want. firefox is actually doing it the way its supposed to. funky huh.

Thanks man that helps a lot, I'll check it out.  Any idea about spacing around images?  When I add an image to a text/html module it has plenty of room on each side but it pushes my left pane out farther, which messes up everything, so i have to skrink the image.  Any clue how to set it up to where it doesn't require so much space on each side before it moves everything around?  It probably has to do with my skin doesn't it?

thanks again
