I am using the "out of the box" blue DNN skin with a horizontal menu.  I am trying to change the background color of the header at the top of the page where the logo is to white.

Ive tried:

/* PAGE BACKGROUND */
/* background color for the header at the top of the page  */
.HeadBg {

background-color:white;
}

But the header color remains the stock blue.  Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

in this case it is:

.skinmaster {
 height: 100%;
 background-color: #ffffff;
 border-right: #7994cb 1px solid;
 border-top: #7994cb 1px solid;
 border-left: #7994cb 1px solid;
 border-bottom: #7994cb 1px solid;
 moz-border-radius-bottomleft: 15px;
 moz-border-radius-bottomright: 15px;
 moz-border-radius-topleft: 3px;
 moz-border-radius-topright: 3px;
}

I placed that coded inside the .HeadBg and it was still blue.  Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

in your style sheet editor paste the above code dead last and it should work for you.

read it like this :

the STYLE is:

.skinmaster

which means things like the background for the skin all reference skinmaster

the rest of the code are the variable or attributes of that style.

put it at the end so that your changes are loaded

(any can feel free to correct me, its my third post)
