Hi! I want to have diferent skins on my website, and an specific banner for each skin. Is it posible to specify an adress for a banner in the asp file for the skin? Or does anyone have any suggestion on how to handle the problem without using the banners module? Thanks

Are you talking about advertising modules? eg.. banner advertising? OR Are you talking about the 'image across the top' to make each one look different?

The banners module is generally used for advertising and brings up random images as set in the vendors section.

If you can clarify the terminology we might be able to help you.

Thank you anwsering my previuos posts. That's exactly what i want, the image across the top. I want to put images across the top for different pages in the same website.

Ok then what you have to do is simply save the file as another name - and when you upload it - with your other skin files - it's in the same folder. - That's what we call a 'skin package'.  If you plan it carefully - you can have them all nicely fitting in a single folder, and it makes it neater all around (in my opinion only).

Then to apply to the page, you go to the 'settings' second button on top - and just about halfway down the page, you can 'apply' the skin to the page, and hit the update button.

And on each page, you'll have that different banner - which I call a 'montage' or 'header image' because that's the terminology for a mix of images spanning across a page and helps me not confuse it with the 'banner' which is advertising and I'm really easy to confuse.. just ask my husband!

I hope this helps.. when we start DNN it takes a few goes to get right - there's alot to take in.. but once you crack of few of the small things, you'll see quite a very distinct and clever method and  then it becomes more intuitive because you sort of know what to be expecting.
