How to use images instead of text in the menu bar

There are two methods that can do this.

If you know the tab id and the images that are going in it. You can add a js file in your skinpack, refrence it in your skin. But this method needs good JScript knowladge.

Simple method is for you to add a background with images associated with your tabs like this which is for one of my clients.

I am also trying to do this on a site.

Does anyone have a sample js file they'd be willing to let me modify?

I have friends who can help me if I get stuck with the JScript...but the site is using non-web fonts in the high level menus and I would really like to be able to use an image instead of text along the top...then have DNN generate the drop down menus when the users hover their mouse...

The JScript method I know still uses text for tab titles.

It sounds to me that you may be better off to use regular text/html module in HTML mode to do your menu in html. Use could also use classes in css to do mouseover etc... for the images.

I'm actually quite surprised that DNN didn't build this into the shell.

I also am looking for a quick and easy way to achieve these results.
