Hi,

Im creating new modules and I need to know wicht fields i have to add to the database tables to get DNN work properly with them.
The modules have to be localized.

I know / think I have to add these fields:

createdbyuser
datecreated
locale
moduleid

Are there more field required to make my modules wordk correct with the database?
And does every table needs these fields or only the ones that connect to the module?

Regards Paul

Paul - it really depends on what your module needs to do - I have modules that handle data not related to module id or who created the info that have none of those fields - if you need to select info by what module instance needs to use it then yes you need a field to designate the module id if you need to localize the module and the portal (dnn) language fiels arent enough then yes you might need to designate what locale the info is in but it really depends on your goal with the module

ther are no real fields 'needed' to make dnn work with a table - it depends more on the stored proc and programming logic to make them work with DNN
