Ok, this should be a fairly simple question. Assuming i'm developing a module, which methods do i have to call, or what do i have to do to get the username of the logged in user ?

I've been looking all over the libraries, but nothing seemed to work. Thought i may have found something when i got to the abstract class DotNetNuke.UI.UserControls.User but it wasn't there. Or at least after initialising a new instance of the class, it didn't contain anything in the username member.

Any ideas ? Thanks in advance :)

you need to use the userinfo class e.g.

Dim objUserInfo As UserInfo = UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo

dim lblUsername as string=objUserInfo.Username

Thanks a bundle. Just needed the GetCurrentUserInfo method. I kind of got lost in all the namespaces DNN provides ;) As for the code, i'm developing in C# :)

Thanks again.
