WHY?   adefweb will say do it by hand..

But ..  if you want to build a large-scale application..  you do need code generators...     where are they?

If you need them, then write them.  Why does someone else have to do the work for you?  If you have searched and they don't exist, then maybe when you are done writing them to suit your purposes you could contribute them back to the community like DNN Jungle and AppTheory did.

I dont need them unless I want to use DotNetNuke for application building instead of picture galleries..   I will use something else to build applications.

It is what is stopping DNN from being a true application framework...  IMO.. 

I do not see ease of application building currently..    other than text pages, faq, gallery, etc.

If I had time I would but I figured since 4 other people/groups have done them for past versions they would have the advantage of experience in upgrading them to 4.4+ ..

 

I might buy IronSpeed and use DNN with IFrame ..  and let DNN manage the login and menu building...and text pages.

Let me rephrase my original post..

Has anyone seen or in the process of updating templates similar to the DNN Jungle.. or even better the AppTheory UI,DAL,BLL templates to use for 4.4.x
