Hey all you module developers out there.  I am writting a few modules that provide several layers of content.  Like what you get with the Help, Forums, or even the Store module.  I was thinking that it would be really nice for my admins/editors to be able to create a link directly to a specific item in my module.  Currently they can do it if they first get the URL and then go to wherever they want the link (say an HTML module) and then add the link there.

This is not real user friendly as it requires the editor to get the link first and if they want several links it means several trips in and out of the editor.

I've proposed an enhancment to the URLControl to let module developers provide a control that lets editors choose content in their module(s).  Here is the link to the Gemini item.  What do you all think, would this be nice to have or can't really see a use for it?
