I am attempting to do somthing strange, I would like to create a profile edit control that wraps the URLControl.ascx user control.  I got it to work (kind of) with just a few lines of code in my RenderEditMode method.

Dim newControl As Control = Me.Page.LoadControl("~/controls/URLControl.ascx")
Dim urlControl As DotNetNuke.UI.UserControls.UrlControl = CType(newControl, DotNetNuke.UI.UserControls.UrlControl)
Me.Controls.Add(urlControl)
urlControl.RenderControl(writer) 

This works except that when I go to edit the profile the URLControl PageLoad event checks if the page is in a PostBack and does not configure itself when it is.  Since the "Manage Profile" link is a postback for the page the control is left unitialized.

Anybody have any ideas on how to trick the URLControl to think it's not a postback?
