Hello,

I m a newbie to DNN module development & is developing a project into DNN framework & have the following situation.

I need to maintain some default configuration settings while adding a module instance on a page by the Admin like display text box for one instance of the module & don't display for the other instance on another page by setting IsDisplay property of the module instance by the Admin.

Is it possible to manage some default configuration settings like this for a DNN module? If yes then please let me know how can this be achieved?

Thanks,

-Awaneesh

unfortunately there are no extensible portal settings, so you can either use your own settings table or you can use host settings with a key containing the portal ID (as FCKEditor does for portal settings).

Unfortunatly not...

I found it best to create my own settings table for Portal-level settings. Using anything else ties you too much to DNN implementation (Host settings or other tables can change in the first next version, and then you are ..................)
