i have downloaded the source code for repository module and i have tweaked a little bit of it regarding my requirements.

the problem is,how can i make the changes affect my application.

iam not able to execute the app from dnnsolution file.

can anyone suggest me how to do this?

You will need to package it as a module and install it on your site.

You can use the "Module Developers Guide" included in the DNN documentation for instructions on how to correctly package the zip file.

hai mitchel,

thank you very much for the suggestion,but the code i have downloaded is in vs-2003 and iam using vs-2005 for my project.

its not a problem for upgradation,but iam getting some errors after i have upgraded that code to 2005

i will specify you the errors :

1.

MSB2012: Project-to-project references to web projects are no longer supported and therefore cannot be converted. Please remove the reference to project http://localhost/DotNetNuke/DotNetNuke.vbproj and add it again.

Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\DotNetNuke.Modules.Repository.SqlDataProvider.vbproj   0 1
