There's GOT to be a way to do this, but I'm not seeing it and I've been all over this forum and the big G.

I have a module that I ported from 1.1/DNN 3.x to 2.0/DNN4.x  Everything compiles and runs just like it should.  And getting the information for that was no small feat!

But now, I have code that produces 26 separate DLLs (and yes I've compiled the app_code directory to ONE DLL.)

Now, DotNetNuke doesn't have a separate DLL for each aspx and ascx file it has for it's modules, and it doesn't have the vb file for each of the ascx files it has installed.  So, the question is how does one create a DNN4 module set and end up with one dll for the View/BLL and another for the SQL-DAL layer?

And before anyone suggest it, I've tried using illink (needs msvc7 debug dlls) and ILMerge (hangs and appears to do nothing.)

you need to create a web application project (WAP), have a look at the tutorials from Michael Washington for details.
