I wrote a testing module only using ViewModuleName.ascx and it code-behind.

I put a GridView enabling paging.

After I created this module on local DNN site, I found a peculiar problem I could not understand:

If users do not login, the paging function dosen't work, that is, if I click the page number, the GridView does not change the current page to the click number. However, if users login such as administrator or host, paging function works properly.

Could any body hints me to troubleshoot this problem?

Regards,

Ricky

Set the module's cache time to 0 on both the module settings page and in the module definitions. Cacheing is normally disabled for authenticated users but not for unauthenticated - hence why your modue's event handling is working when logged in.

Hi,

I am new to DNN and I am facing a similar problem. I can't get the pageindexchanging event to fire for my dynamically created grid view, though i have assigned the event to the corresponding handler. I would like setting the module cache time solution, but have no idea how..

help please..
