Hello !!

I have downloaded and installed starterkit 4.5 and now, when I create a new DNN project I receive the error “Could not find file ‘C:\users\Miguel\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\VisualStudio\8.0\ProjectTemplatesCache\Visual Web Developer\VisualBasic\DotNetNuke.zip\DotNetNuke.webproj”
I have navigated to this folder, and actually the missing file is not inside the DotNetNuke.Zip file. The only similar file inside the file is “DotNetNuke.vstemplate”

Can you please help ?

Hello !

 

I have discovered the problem. The first instalation release of the 4.5.1 starter kit was corrupted. After download the new file in the DNN site the problem disapeared.

By the way, if a file is released with an error, and a new version is deployed a few days later, shouldnt that version be diferent ? The corrected startkit sould be something like 4.5.2 so the change is noticible. I have lost a lot of time tracking this error and discovering that the site version is new was a long shoot.
