I have created a custom registration page and also set the "User Page" setting under the Admin tab to this custom registration page.  So now, when I click "Register" on the homepage I am successfully directed to my custom page.  However, after I log in, if I click on my display name, I am take to the Registration page instead of my User Account Profile page.  I noticed when the "User Page" setting is set to default, clicking on the display name will take me to my User Account Profile page.  How do I enable this while still using a custom registration page??

Thanks in advance!

There are a couple of possible options - create a custom skin object that replaces the standard rego / login skin objects - and handle the redirection yourself

Or place both your REGO mpdule and the dnn core User module on the same page:

- set your REGO module visible only to Un-Registered Users
- set the User module visible only to Registered Users.

The "User" page handles three scenarios:

New user registration

User editing self after login

Administrator editing other user after login

Which scenario has to be deturmined with variables, take a look at how the existing user page handles it.

rcl - contact me on imn if you want and i can help you out with that but what i usually do is test if the user is logged in and then refill the registration form and change it for editing the profile - that way I keep control of profiles and what people can do

im on msn live - dylan.barber@earthlink.net
