I am  converting a ASP.Net standard web site to a DNN 4.5.1 web site. I am moving the old web site functionality into custom modules. I have a datagrid on a asp.net web page that has a hyperlink column that when clicked it called another web page passing parameters in a querystring. Of course this is now a web user control calling another web user control within the custom module. How do I add those same query string parameters to my url in DNN 4.51 so the grid link in web control 1 can call web control 2 and it can display data based on those additional query string parameters. Thanks...

By default for a specific module, there is only one view by container, you can have multiple views but they have to be in different containers of your page.

Each view, can have some actions defined. If you see the default modules you can see that you have additional actions available on the bottom of your modules (depending of your settings). But those actions will be launched in the admin skin, and not in the current page skin.

If you want to use different controls in the same view, you need to write the code to load the correct control into the module.

You can have a look on my CMWA.DNN.CustomControl there is code  you could use to load dynamically a WebUserControl from within the module, up to you to read the Querystring and load the correct usercontrol.

Thanks to Michael Washington, here's a good tutorial on the use of NavigateUrl and its various overloads: http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/NavigateURL/

Thanks for the article/tutorial. That does solve part of the problem, but I still do not understand how to send the additional parameter to the second control. Example is the grid column with the hyperlink has a Id ( some unique number behind it ). Let us say that myID = 12345. in a regular web page you could do something like "www.mysite.com/weppage.aspx?myid=12345" and then get the myID value from the querystring parameters in the second page and use it. How do I get the "myID=12345" passed to the second control after I have called it as the tutorial suggests which makes sense up to this point.. Thanks!!
