Hi,

I'm looking for a sortable, groupable, etc. data grid for DNN 3.x and/or 4.x..  Any suggestions?  And it works with DNN.

Thanks,
Bill

Infragistics has an amaizing grid, although you need to be careful about returning large recordsets or cliet side performance can become an issue - the only problem with using them is that you'll require a developers license, and you'll need to come up with a way to easily deploy the javascript components that will need to be hosted on the server - should do too much work, try a search for ultrawebgrid and dotnetnuke on google.

Thanks.  I am trying that control right now and when I put a ultrawebgrid on my page in DNN 3.x it gives a MinMax... error when I run the module.  Have you seen this?  When I remove it from the module everything is ok.  I'm wondering what else needs to be set.  Looks like there are some scripts that should go somewhere - /ig_tools/...

Hi

maybe you would try telerik's grid. They have DNN integration. Look here for more information: http://www.telerik.com/products/dnn/controls/grid/overview.aspx

Just wanted to report back that the Telerik grid worked perfect.  I love Infragistics web grid but spent too much frustrating time with it.  Telerik grid just worked.

Here's what I did:

Installed Telerik, copied RadControl folder to root of DNN, plopped a RadGrid on my custom module, assigned an existing data class, tweaked some RadGrid settings and that's it.  Dang!!

FYI, I'm using DNN 3.2.2 - Telerik RadGrid 4.6 - ASP.NET 1.1

Thanks,
Bill
