Hello,

Take this address for example:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/ctl/PostEdit/mid/2108/forumid/111/action/new/Default.aspx

I want to capture the name of the top level folder for this address inside of my skin.  In this address that would be "Community". How can I get this value? PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabPath is close but not exactly what I'm looking for.  Can anyone help?

-James

Not sure if there's a DNN function to do what you're looking for, but something like this ought to do it:

Function TopLevelFolder() as string

dim str() as string = Request.RawUrl.Split("/")

if str.length >= 2 then

return str(1)

End Function
