We are running DNN 4.5, doing some custom module development. We had a set of modules that are displaying fine when logged off, but after you log in it is like the modules aren't even on the page anymore.

The modules worked logged in and logged out yesterday, but there are several developers working on the project so none of us are sure what changes may have affected their logged in view.

All we know is:
1. Database structure looks fine, you can see the modules, tab_modules, tabs relationship, query everything, permissions look fine, etc.
2. There are no errors in the Event Viewer
3. The modules are working fine on local development versions of DNN 4.5
4. Everything shows up just fine if you are logged out.

Basically I am wondering where to start to look here, general theories, etc. This is on a staging box so we don't have as much access to remote debugging etc.

Update: The settings button is there, but not the change.

Update 2: It seems like the Change and View options for even the default modules are not working also, Text/HTML, etc.

Update 3: Not Skin/Container related, tried all the default skins, containers I could think of, no love.

The only modules that seem to be working are the admin modules, I can still pull up everything under Admin and Host just fine.

Update 4: Copied Site/Database to another server, same story.

Update 4: Copied the site to another server, pointed it at a default clean database, and it works fine, modules and all, so it is database related. Pointed a clean install at this database, and recreated it.

So what is a database setting that could cause all user modules View and Edit options to quit working is the question.
