Hi,

I am using DNN 4.5.1 install version and trying to redirect the user to a specific page after login. This does not seem to work. Every time the user logs he is redirected to the last page he was viewing.

I have set the "Redirect After Login:" to my desired page in the User Accounts setting. But this doesn't seem to work . 

Another issue is that I want to create few session variables during login so that I can use them throughout the portal. I have a custom dll that sets the session vars. I tried to invoke the respective mehod from the dll to set the session variable in the

"cmdLogin_Click" event in "Signin.ascx.vb" just after the login success method "UserAuthorized(objUser, False)". But the session variables are not set.

when I tried to use my method inside some custom module on other page the session variables are set. But I would really like to set the session variables at login. Please advice if I am missising something or what could be done to fix this?

Just a note: I am using VS2005 and C# for my custom dll and modules.

Any help in the above matters is appreciated.
