Also does DeleteModuleSetting even work - I have tried a few variations on it and it doesnt appear to take out settings.

My understanding is this...

tabmoduleid is ALWAYS unique,  however module id can be the same for multiple modules if the content was "copied" from one page to another.

Okay - got everything working on this thanks for the path pointer on the tabmoduleid thing was almost a disaster there

- i got a new kind of question on this - this is obviously a settings page and i have it as such - each module that comprises this application (there are 12 so far - some are really small support things) has to have this ability but it strikes me they are all doing the same thing saving a matrix of user roles and features that that role can use

so my question is this - is there an easy way to 'inherit' a settings page base of my own and have it use the load settings and update settings from a base page but fill the list of 'features' from a page that inherits from it ?

Am i even making sense on this - it seems like a lot of work to duplicate this page 12 times or so when the basic functions are all the same
