Is it possible to have a URL link in a module call a VB.net function on that page?

If so how would I do that.

Dean

I am using a label control to list reports and each report is a URL, I want the url to call a function(VB.net) and give the report name and then via Intermodule communction I will load the report in another module.

Set the URL of each element to point back to the same tabid but add an addition parameter to pass the selection back in

http://mysite.com./default.aspx?tabid=222  -  basic page that shows all the links

http://mysite.com/default.aspx?tabid=222&report=MyReportName  - this is the same module when a report has been selected

Once you have the report parameter you can do whatever you want with it

Load report in seperate module - or load the report in the same module.

Alternatively - you could also do the same thing via Command buttons and Postback
 - but u loose the ability to bookmark favourite reports.

Why you do not use the Link Button Control.

If you use Postbacks then its not possible to BOOKMARK the reports themselves - and thats fine if you dont want to be able to do that - which is basically what I said above.

Using the querystring route - you can add a BOOKMARK that links directly to the reports.
