Is it possible to call a vb.net function everytime a user logs into the system?

You could, but it would either require writing a custom login module, or a modification to the core code.

Set up the Signin Module to jump to a specific page after logon - call page - "After Login"  in the User Settings area.

The create a custom module and install it on the After Login page.

The Custome Module should do any post login work you need doing - then redirect the user to the HOME page.

Its not a big deal.

You can do this by upgrading the current Login module. OR change the existing login module.
