Attempting to open 3.2 dnn solution in Visual Studio 2005 launches conversion wizard.  Conversion fails and loads all but dnn project.  Project not found is error.  Project is there.(of course)

Must I move to 4.x?

I have several critical DotNetNuke portals that will need conversion.  Is there a tutorial on best practice to convert legacy 3.x DotNetNuke portals to 4.x DotNetNuke portals?

Yes, you must use 4.0 if you are going to be doing VS2005/.NET 2.0 development.  The core team spent a great deal of time re-orging the project for the .NET 2.0 release.

You're 3.2 modules will continue to work in DNN 4.  So you don't really need to covert anything.  at least not unless you want to.

------------- w00t!
