Hi Jeff, that link is to a C# port of DNN, so it might not be the most up-to-date reference for DotNetNuke. Just a heads up.

As for the idea behind Koders, you shouldn't have asked. :) I was recently hired as the Product Manager of the website and I could go on and on. j/k.  It's simply a search engine that indexes open source code repositories. It indexes all the major version control systems, zip files, etc...

The money side of the business is the Enterprise product for companies to search and reuse their internal code. Soon they'll release a personal edition. I wrote a blog post on it before I joined them. They also have a blog at http://koders.com/blog/.
