Hi all.

I just started, and stuck with some simple things.

I have a form populated from database (classic user info update form).
Now, when I change some of the fields and click a button, in the event that handles that action, if I set new value to be like txtUserName.text (if textbox is named "txtUserName"), I get the old value from that textbox, not the new one.
That's the problem No1.

Next, I would like to reload that page after submitting changes and show new data. Seams that page loads with same old data.

Thank you!

You are likely reloading your controls on page init or load.  Check to see that you are only loading your initial values "if not Page.IsPostBack" - load values "end if"

You are right. Silly me, I was checking when reading fields, instead of when writing into fields.

Thank you very much
