Hi!

Is it possible to create a multi page module in DNN? I have several pages and the processing done by these pages are dependent on information done by a previous page. (ex: information displayed on page2 depends on user input in page1). What's the best way to approach this using modules in DNN?

Do I use a multi page module? Or do I use multiple modules that are co-dependent on each other? If this is possible, how is this done? Are there any resources I can use?

I'm new to DNN and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Cherie

Cherie:

You can certainly have a module with multiple "pages".

Check out the great tutorials by Mr. Michael Washington at http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/.

They contain all you need to know about module development and more, including how to handle the multiple page module.  Look for the title "Module Navigation Options"  under "Advanced Concepts" near the bottom of the page.

I have to warn you, all this is going to look a little complex and intimidating at the beginning (maybe because it is) but once you get the hang of it you'll be amazed at what you can do.

If you have trouble with something, don't hesitate to post your questions sooner rather than later when you get all frustrated and discouraged.

Welcome to Dotnetnuke...

Carlos
