Hi,

Is there an event which gets executed when a module is loaded on a page e.g. after you select the menu option or when a module is unloaded?

I want to use Session vars to store information in a module but if I move to another menu option and back again, it remembers the values until the session expires.

I need some way of resetting them.

You could clear your values in your module, possibly when NOT IsPostback, which would be the inital load of the module.

Hi,

Yes thats true but it would be nice if there was an event called 'module load' which would guaranteed to be only called once.

i usually create a guid at initial page_load and use this guid as a prefix for all session vars. the guid itself has to be put in the viewstate to be available after postback to access the vars. This way you can open a page as often as you want without having one page instance interfering with another.
