Hey all -----

Okay I knew this was going to land in my lap one day soon - we have a ton of old ASP pages that up till now have been protected to some extent by Authentix (www.flicks.com if you care)  - this sytem has been quite frankly a b***h to maintain but does work, or did! The server is having problems and we are getting ready to upgrade and move on etc.

My question is this we are going to be moving these apps to DNN in the near future (boy its nice to have job security :)) and I want to take Authentix out of the loop ASAP - can i use DNN as simply a login for the ASP site and then add the .asp and oither files to the isapi filter and have them protected by the forms authentication

Will this work or am i chasing a losing dream on this one ?

I am not sure if that would work or not....my best recommendation would be to setup a quick test app and see if it would work.

Okay this sucks cause it takes config settings and iis settings - does anybody have a solution for running asp pages and dnn so the asp pages are protected until the user authenticates with dnn

FYI, I just read the following thread:

Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but thought it might help.
