I am doing some customization of the/an UrlRewriter module. Using the code from http://www.ventrian.com/Resources/Projects/FriendlyUrls.aspx. This works fine, but I want to change the assembly name and namespace.

Now when I try to use the module, I get an error. I did a copy/paste of the namespace+classname and assemblyname into the web.config file. And added the extra parameter. The assembly builds and is in the website/bin folder. But creation of the type fails:  "Could not load type" in BuildManager.GetType. The TypeName parameter is correct.

The problem now is: setting breakpoints in the class that must be created does not work.

How can I debug this under Vs2005? Can I see wat .Net is doing, or see a more specific error why it fails?
Can it be a referenced assembly that causes the error?

Thanks, Leo
