Ok,
  My friend and I just built a basic address book module, and it works normally while i am logged in as Host and in Edit mode in 4.5.3.   The problem is when I switch to View, or login as a basic user, nothing seems to work.  I can enter search criteria, and the page refreshes, but it does not appear to fire off the SQL.  I know it has to be something I left out in the code to work with DNN, but I am still pretty new to DNN.   Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

As mentioned above you must set the module cache time to 0 for your module
