Hi all,

I am using the DNN Framework for my website. The DNNTreeviewMenu.ascx control is a treeview, which displays a menu for navigating on the portal. It handles all user access stuff, and this is what I want.

But I also want to add some custom logic to that control. I wanted to register to the PopulateOnDemand event as a listener, and then, every time when a node has to be load, I will notified and can apply the logic to determine, if that node should be added to the tree or not.

But the problem: PopulateOnDemand is not public in the DNNTreeviewMenu control. Any ideas? I also found the control named DNNTree, but that control is to basic and if I am using that, I have to implement the whole menu stuff by myself.

Thanks for help...

It sounds like you could solve your issue by implementing your own navigation provider and put the custom logic there.  This document covers the providers.
