Hello,

I'm currently updating a site to a new skin. - I am manually editing each page, to speed up the process I would like to run an SQL procedure to change the skin of a tab id - I have the following procedure. - It changes the tables fine, but the changes are not having any affect on the skin that the tab id is using, is there another location where the skin is specified for the tab id?

DECLARE @newSkin nvarchar(200)
UPDATE Tabs

 SET @newSkin = SkinSrc, SkinSrc = '[G]Skins/dnncreative/dnncreative_articles.ascx'
 WHERE TabID = 171

Thanks,

Lee

Lee,

I believe that this is a setting that is cached by DNN.  Therefore you would need to restart the application to have the cache cleared.

Thanks, yes you are correct, I've just been experimenting with it. - The procedure works fine.

Excellent, this saves me a lot of time no longer needing to do the same repetitive tasks!

Cheers,
