I'm hoping that some people can point me in the right direction.   I have several applications that I have written in .net 1.1 and would like to get them updated in 2.0 and put them into DNN 4.x.   I have my own OR data mapper that I built that I would like to use in place of the DNN sql framework, but am unsure about how I need to be using that inside the DNN framework.  If someone has some resources (ie. books or web pages) with information on how to develope these types of applications inside DNN that would be great.

Also, I haven't done any programming in a while (about a year and a half) and am trying to update myself with .Net 2.0 in addition to doing this work.   I'm unfamiliar with WAP, so if I need to be looking more at that I will do so.   My end goal is to create a PA that I can sell out of the applications that I have written in .Net 1.1.

So if anyone has any pointers for me, I would appreciate any help that you can send my way.  :)

Thanks!

I'm pretty excited right now.   Using the WAP setup I was able to accomplish exactly what I was trying to do.   I have created my first DNN module that is using my own ORM and it's working like a champ.   I am able to access data from the database and display it inside the module created.    Hopefully this will be the start of quite a few new things for me.

Thanks!

Chaitanya
