I've modified the DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.Manageusers.vb file and added a further class into the app_code directory under a new directory (MyDir) called MyUtilClass.cs which is referenced by the changed code in the manageusers code (I don't think that putting MyUtilClass in App_Code is probably the right place to put it but that's what VS2005 prompted me for).  Anyway, it compiles and runs.  I now wnat to distribute the new DLLs just for the changes that I made.  I'm just not sure in which DLLs the code is compiled into.  Anybody know which DLL the DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.manageusers.vb is compiled into and which DLL any code under the App_Code directory is compiled into?

In DNN 4.x mode core code is not actually compiled into any DLL until runtime.

As such you would be far better not modifying any of the core modules directly.

Instead, you would be better off creating a new module based on the core code you are changing. In this way
you can then distribute you changes in a more effective fashion. And at the same time provide a
safer path for handling future DNN updates
