I've built a module which has user specific information and i have a requirement where i need to be able to login as an administrator and impersonate a user in the site. The reason been is to see what the specified user is seeing so I can help them if they have any issues or questions.

Does anybody have any ideas how i can go about this?

In your module's code, I assume you will be getting the administrator to select/enter the username that they want to impersonate.  Once you've got that, do a FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie("username", False) - you don't need their password.  Naturally, you'd want to be careful with the way you set up security for the module.

SnowCovered has a switch user module which is excellent for this purpose.

Check out SW.AutoLogon, has a UserSwitcher mode which I personally use for exactly that reason. (it has several other modes of use in addition to that)
