Hello,

I am new to Asp.net, could someone direct me to the files in the source of DNN where I can see how the different tabs are loaded and off loaded? I am assuming this application is designed with UserControls and one ASPX page to load and off load the UserControls. I want to get an understanding on how it works for my module designs.

Thanks!

You'll find a lot of your answers can be found within this development & resources forum, other forums and books.
Some of the best books would be asp.net, visual basic, vb.net and dotnetnuke specific books geared towards module creation.

Lot of it is logic, but it is using it to the max.
A bit more to remember than just web design and skinning.
But it is these fundamentals that help when entering this new world of coding.

I am fairly new to asp.net coding, and have many questions of my own. You never stop growing.
One site I found especially informative and helpful for beginning stages of module creation is:

http://www.seaburydesign.com/

You will have to do the standard register to be granted access to videos, but there are 7 different videos, all on beginers and custom module development.
The fact that the tutorials are in video format is very helpful. Last video explains various advanced techniques as well.
This will actually cover adding options within module edit, which is what I think your looking for.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for  the info. Actually I am looking for the class files that I can look at which will give me an idea on how the Tabs, UserControls loading works. Similar to when I looked at the PortalInfo.vb and similar files that gave me an idea on the Portals are related in the solution.

Try starting at the Default.aspx.vb file which is really where the magic happens.
