Dear All

I suspect that the answer may be a resounding "no" or at least "not easily" but is there any support in DNN (I am using Version 4.3.5) for users to add an "avatar" image that appears with their account information?  I know that various 3rd party products might provide this but was looking for a potential hack using the tools that DNN ships with before I resort to writing my own bespoke module.

Try using profiles. There's a document that talks about profiles in the documentation section.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I've looked at building this as an extended property in the user's profile (is that what you mean?) but it doesn't give me the functionality that I want - namely for user's to upload their own avatar image and associate it with their account.

I think Charles Nurse' s blog also covered this topic for a custom profile property.

OK thanks, I will look at that and if all else fails, "roll my own" bespoke control to add to a custom "My Account" page which allows the user to upload an image.
