I have a user control that I created that is not being found by the module it was written for.

When I go into the Edit mode for the module i have a Register command for the user control on that page and the path of  "~/DesktopModules/usercontrol.ascx"

But even though the file is there it says does not exist.

I'm wondering do I have to register the control in DNN like the "Edit" and "View" or should it just be able to pick it up and run it?

So basically what I'm asking what is the proper way to link another user control such as the Settings.ascx

Thank you for any assistance.

"~/DesktopModules/usercontrol.ascx"

**** is pointing at a control in the root of the DESKTOPMDOULES path instead of pointing at your modules folder.

"~/DesktopModules/yourModuleName/usercontrol.ascx"
