Hi there. We have a DotNetNuke portal that imports users from a customer database. We have big problems with speed  - our import routine uses ~30 seconds to update 100 user profiles - and this is on a reasonably high-end machine with plenty of capacity.

We also notice when upgrading to from 4.4.x to 4.5.x that suddenly some of our functional tests failed because the ProfileController / UserController failed to create SqlTransaction while dealing with user updates - and I suspect that the issues we are seeing with UserProfile update speed are related to these changes.

Has anyone else experienced problems with the UpdateUserProfile method? If so - did you solve it?
