I'm developing an application within DotNetNuke where a user can book an appointment online with the client firm. I have got booking working, and now I need to give the user an easy way to log in for the appointment. Has anyone tried setting up something like a kiosk in DotNetNuke? I want the user to log in using their user credentials, but then not have access to the rest of the system. They should only be able to select a link that logs them into the appointment (i.e. save a record in the database of their presence), and then log them out again and return to the kiosk. Ideas? Should I just write a module to handle this that's public, takes their credentials, and saves them in session but doesn't "really" log them in?

you can prevent the user from moving to other pages by using a skin for that page, which does not contain a menu.
