Hey guys,
My custom module is complete and I can add it to any page on my local dev box without errors, however I don't seem to have an option to "Create module package" in the Module Defnitions like I see on the DNN Prod site...

So i figured I'd just run the .sql file and copy everything related to my module from the directories "App_Code" and "DesktopModules". In Module Defninitions I chose "Create New Module", then picked my .dnn file (seemed to work okay). However when I actually add the module to a page I get "A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object. "

Is there something I could be missing? I don't think it's related to missing DB data (ModulesSettings), I handle all that in the code and put in default values if missing...and actulally the data does showup there when I run a query.

Any info would be GREAT
Thanks,
Steve

Are both DNN installs the same version?

Does the Object Reference error point to any specific method?

Also, have you verified that the directories for the module definition are correct?

Everything seems fine in there

I've even uninstalled it all locally (no DB references) and reinstalled the module with success on my DEV box,

Theres another more experienced dnn developer here and he can't seem to figure out why the package option is not showing up
