I have been working on a name, address, phonenumber database module and though it is easy enough to export data to excel, i was looking for solutions for creating a single click -Open Lables- button option.  for example avery 8160 Mailing labels 3 colums 10 rows per page

Some Ideas i have been playing around with

I could create an HTML with a count feature every 30 items to add a page break. (problem is consistant formatting)

Using a utility like itext to create a formatted pdf (problem is steep learning curve to learning that system)

Streaming datasource to excel or word and formatting labels programmatically (problem requires consistant versions and users to have those programs.)

Any other ideas out there.. solutions people have used?
