Hello,

I'm developing a module. I have added a  LinkButton Control to update some data but when tested, the button doen not fire the handle :(

what am i missing?

Firts i was doing with a command buton that the dnn provides:

<dnn:CommandButton ID="cmdUpdate" runat="server" class="CommandButton" ImageUrl="~/images/save.gif" ="cmdApply" text="Apply Changes" OnClick="cmdUpdate_Click" />

Then i try with a simple link button

<asp:LinkButton ID="LinkButton1" runat="server" OnClick="LinkButton1_Click">LinkButton</asp:LinkButton>

Thanks

In code behind / beside methodologies try getting rid of the OnClick statement.

And instead coding the callback function with a handles statement directly.

Sub cmdUpdate_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) handles cmdUpdate.OnClick

the handles statement does basically the same thing as the event / delegate system in C# - basically it assigns the function as a event handler.
