If DNN were to render in Standards compliance mode natively, your skins would still have the same problem with the alignment.    It would have the same effects as using the XML to specify compliancy.

I feel like a dog chasing his tail on this subject. The question still remains; Has anyone successfully implemented the ModalPopupExtender in DotNetNuke or is it simply incompatible? I want to use it in a module but I can't because either the AjaxControlToolkit or DNN is BROKE. Which is it? There are obviously millions of people smarter than the person having the problem (me). I'm looking for an answer in both news groups and I can only hope one of the smart people out there knows the smart person capable of fixing it. The ModalPopupExtender is a really nice feature for the custom modules I developed for my organization. Then again, I might get forced into using sharepoint anyway so all this will be a moot point.

Jon
