I use DNN 4.5.5

I have a module that makes use of the DNN PagingControl (pagingcontrol.vb).
This module is located in a narrow pane which does not allow the cellDisplayStatus (1 of 3) and cellDisplayLinks (First Next aso..) to line up correctly.

Looking into the code I realized that it has been hardcoded that way (using the System.Web.UI.WebControls.Table).

I also have my dnn portal as the Parent portal with other portals in the same installation and would therefore not like to alter the pagingcontrol.vb file (a core file).

I am rather new to development, and don´t really know how to fix this in the most correct way.
Should I just create a copy of the vb-file and rename the class/file and then instanciate it in my .ascx or can I solve it in another way?

Thanks!
