Hi,

I'd like to know if it's possible to make the file upload control default instead of selecting an existing file. The reason is that when user sees this control (when configuring background pictures, for example), he will more likely want to upload new files rather than choose a file on the portal.

Thanks

What file upload control are you talking about here? The one that allows you to upload a file from within a Ritch Text Editor? If so, it's up to the Editorprovider you're using. Try the FCK Editor project forums if you're using that editor.

No, that's not what I'm talking about. Sorry for not making it clear.

The control I want to modify is the one that is used to upload logos, backgrounds in Site Settings and upload files in other Core Modules.

Ah, that one

I'm afraid that can't be donewithout changing the code.

FYI: the control used is the UrlControl. We plan to provide an enhanced version in DNN 5.0
